Yes the bath is beautiful but the delivery was dreadful. We were advised that the bath would arrive Thursday a.m. waited all day then phoned at 2:00pm to be told it was not on the "pallet". I asked what this meant and was told that Taps did not deliver to Scotland and farmed their deliveries out to another company. The other company was at fault and they could not find my order apparently.
We were then assured that the delivery would be the next morning again we orgnised people to be there to help us carry the bath into the house. We live in a mews type property and the bath had to be carried up an outside stair and then upstairs to our bathroom.
Yet again it did not arrive and the person we had asked for had another appointment at 12:00 so had to leave.
We had to ask the driver to help us - two 60 year olds - to get the bath into the house.
Thankfully he did as we would have had to wait untill after 6:00pm before we could arranged futher help.
The bath has not yet been installed due to the fact that it arrived a day late our plumber had other commitments and had to re-schedule our fitting until a later date.
This turned out to be a very stressful experience.
