The only reason I was still hanging on to Vodafone was because of the International Minutes I received when I topped up. Apparently a month ago they had taken my country off the offer and no notification whatsoever was sent either via email, or text, or anything. I only found this out when after checking I had 30 free minutes left, I called my family in my country and after the call broke off I found out that the free minutes were untouched and instead all my credit was gone, including the £3 of IOU as if the credit alone wasn't enough!!
I called the customer service which obviously doesn't really care for your problems and justifies their actions by saying it's in the terms and conditions, which apparently were changed in the beginning of the month but no one was notified about it! And then after admitting it was their fault on not sending a notification they were still unable to refund my money. And as if it was OK to be told after a month I was told "at least now you know". Thank you very much! I wouldn't if i hadn't decided to call about it!
This and many other problems I've encountered with Vodafone have definitely convinced me and my friends to switch to another company as this one seems to be going further down the fraud road!
