I have sent the faulty Sentinel 3 way cat repeller/deterent ( £149.99) back to the company in the post in May 2013. After speaking to the owner on the telephone, was told I would receive a refund on this, I have not received any refund or any notification.
The order was fine - delivery was promised between 8-6 on a Thursday - so took a day off work to wait at home. No door arrived and when I called waited ages for it to be "found" and was told it had been lost in transit. A new door was promised and I asked for it to be delivered on the following Tuesday as I was away for a few days. No door arrived and when I called was told it could still arrive and may even be next day!! I wanted to cancel the order and was told they would have to check with the courier first! I then asked to speak to the Manger ( [private data removed]) but he was on the phone - no point me hanging on as no idea how long he would be. The woman I spoke with said they only worked to 5 pm so may not even get a call back that day. This was late Tuesday afternoon. I had hardly put the phone down when a courier arrived with the 1st order. I was surprised to say the least. The courier company had been to the house twice - both times when away. I worked from home for 2 days and although I mailed ( see below) I never had a reply or call - although I did get a further mail asking if I had received the door. NEVER again

I am really surprised that despite taking 2 days off work and being home to wait for delivery of a shower tray the 2nd one ( first order was 2 or 3 July and was Lost – or so I was told. On the 4 ( having waited in all day for order no 9062424) I was promised another one to be delivered TUESDAY 9 between 10 – and 2 pm – but nothing arrived as the door was delivered yesterday – well attempted as I SAID I was away and only Tuesday would work. The company DID not leave a note through the door after attempting delivery yesterday – if they had I would have called first thing this morning and not waited until now – assuming it would be delivered. Now I am told it can be delivered tomorrow but no time can be set and I really cannot take another day off work.
I then decided the best option was to cancel and was then told she would have to contract the courier. It is NOT my concern about the delivery and who you chose – it is yours. That means if I wish to cancel I should only need to speak with Best Bathrooms. I am really very unhappy about such poor service.
I asked to speak to the manger bad was told [private data removed] was on the phone and he may phone back but Best close at 5 pm! Am I now meant to take another day off and wait in tomorrow expecting delivery which may or may not come?
