Poor service, but problems eventually resolved

I had a month of problems over a chair order - apparently due to the courier leaving the box out in the rain for a day (when the driver 'forgot' to put it on the van!) Consequently it arrived damaged with ALL the fittings missing, having falled out of the box. MANY frustrating phone calls and broken promises and, at the end, I was told the useless chair parts would be collected but I wouldn't get a replacement as there were no more. I had to kick up a stink unfortunately after being infinitely patient for weeks but was finally offered an apology and compensation. I've been assured that steps are being taken to avoid this sort of service in future.
