Hen Do - not great experience

Whilst it's great to have a central place for collecting payment from everyone (and not leaving me out of pocket) I found I had to do a lot of chasing for a response and correcting of errors.

Also, we got our quote, paid our deposit then found out after money had been taken that one of our activites wasn't available and we had to change activities and rearrange the day - this was disappointing. I would expect availablity to be checked first.

Next time I would probably co-ordinate myself.

We are always striving for the highest level of service here so to hear you weren't satisfied is very disappointing. Your feedback has been passed to your account manager who will review where they could have performed better throughout your experience with their manager.

Regarding your booking’s availability, there is always the possibility that something that has been quoted may not be available come the time of booking. There are 45 account managers at Chillisauce booking stag and hen activities plus other companies doing the same thing so this does happen on occasion if a deposit isn’t placed quick enough. In fact, this is the very first thing we highlight in our Terms & Conditions (See Section 1: Again if this was not explained to you correctly we can only apologise and further inform the account manager.

So far this year we have received just under 20,000 enquiries for stag or hen events. Some enquiries are quoted and not heard from for weeks or months. If we were to have to check and double check availability before a customer has booked, so much time would be spent doing this that we would not function properly as a business. So on the odd occasion we will have situations like yours where after a deposit has been placed, the account manager goes to confirm the booking, and that particular activity no longer has the required availability. In this situation a suitable alternative is always offered but in the event one cannot be agreed upon, the deposit is refunded in full.
