We ordered a table, 6 chairs, sofa and rug. The table needed a spare part, the sofa was replaced and two of the chairs also had problems but we didn't report them. The design you get is great for the price, but savings have to be made somewhere and we found that this was in the quality of the manufacturing. The protection offered by the packaging is excellent, so the damage or faulty parts must have been purely down to poor quality control. Another thing to consider is that each product is part of a limited manufacturing run, so potentially you can have a situation similar to the one we encountered where the dining room table and the chairs arrived several weeks apart.
One thing I would say is that the customer service is outstanding when resolving any of these issues. They arranged for replacements without any quibbling and even offered to replace the dining room table with another style when we found the seats didn't fit (well outside their 1 week return policy).
I would still look to purchase from made in the future because I'm a sucker for great design (at a great price) that has a lot more exclusivity (than say Ikea), however be prepared to work through any manufacturing faults.
