Wish I had read these reviews before I ordered

I had been searching the Internet looking for a butane gas soldering iron kit. I had found the kit I wanted on a couple of sites and was comparing prices and shipping charges. It was this site (tool shop direct) that was a couple of pounds cheapest, and
Also offered Saturday delivery, (it was Friday afternoon at 14:30hrs), plenty of time for any dispatch company to action the order. The Saturday delivery charge was £22,, a huge amount of money for such a tiny and light parcel, but sometimes if you want things in a hurry you have to pay the premium.

I entered my credit card details and promptly received a confirmation of order, nothing wrong here,,, but on examining the e mail I noticed that it said that I would get a dispatch e mail with a tracking number. I checked my e mails regularly up until around 16:30 hrs to which I sent an e mail asking for confirmation that my order was to be dispatched in time for 'Saturday' ,, NOTHING.......

I waited in all day Saturday in vain hope, but it seemed doubtful that my now super expensive soldering iron was going to arrive... I called their 0844 number, it just rang and rang,,,,, I e mailed the sales team again,,,, no reply...

Of course by this time I had found this site and its reviews. I wish I had seen it before I paid out my hard earned money..

So, I have spent an extra 30% more money on this product, which hasn't arrived.. I expect that it will arrive next Saturday (a full week late).. I wish I had paid the standard delivery now, I may have even got the item sooner!!,, lets hope it even arrives.

By the total lack of communication from this company, (which these days is almost ridiculous) even an e bay seller will answer sales related questions more promptly.. I find this all too worrying..

Dealing with this company feels like throwing money into the ether,,, I have asked the company to contact me regarding changing the shipping, I only wanted the item promptly, I was prepared to pay for this, I put my trust in this company, now I'm left feeling sick inside..

I would be happy if the company would communicate, maybe send the item by next day delivery, the weekend is now over, but I can at least get on with the job that I ordered it to do..

If I do get some communication, and satisfaction I shall update my review. Sadly, until then, this one stands....

My advice to anyone reading this to avoid any dealings with this company.
