Systo UK
Ordered with trepidation, came away smiling
I was after a Thecus N4800 NAS drive which seemed to suit my needs. The only company that had one available was Systo, and at a good price too. I order a lot online, but placed my order with Systo with some trepidation as I had never ordered from them before and something about their website made me a little unsure, but with no alternative I went ahead. At least purchasing by credit card one has additional insurance in the case of non-delivery. One thing I always do when ordering from a new company is check to see if they have a valid address and check it out on Google maps and Streetview to pay a virtual "visit". I became concerned when the online delivery tracking did not work, and called them twice to check all was OK. On the second call they not only gave me a delivery date, but a delivery time as well, and sure enough the goods arrived as predicted. I am very pleased with the product and the price. There are some issues with their tracking which they need to sort out but overall a relatively good experience.

Irresponsible Delivery - CO2 Intensive
I placed an order with three items in it, a microphone, a pack of two XLR/jack adaptors and a pack of two 3.5mm to 6mm jack adaptors. I assumed that they would all be packaged and delivered together.
How wrong could I have been! All three were packaged separately and individually delivered by courier. The two 3.5/6mm adaptors worth a total of £1.94 delivered on a completely different day to the others.
Yet, at the top of the address label on each package the words "Responsible Delivery - CO2 Neutral". Whilst the products were a reasonable price I will certainly think twice before ordering from Digital Village again based on this irresponsible form of delivery.

Good Service, Good Prices
I purchased a Petrol PC003 Case for one of our video cameras. Creative Video were cheaper than elsewhere. Ordered Friday, delivered the following Monday. Good information on progress of order. I will be back!
