The actual ordering and delivery were fine, no problems, but the information regarding tracking was appalling. The punctuation was abysmal, and the whole information was in one solid block of letters, with no spacing between words. I didn't bother reading it all, on the basis that if they can't be bothered to communicate with me correctly, I'm not going to waste my time trying to decipher their communications.
Who says the English Language isn't important? Perhaps the originator should be sent back to Primary school.
On the whole, we're very happy with our Sienna 300 tall cabinet, a solid piece of furniture, but slightly disappointed with only two shelves supplied for such a tall unit. No extras are available, so had to sort out shelves and fittings myself, and which are a mismatch. No mention of the number of shelves in any product description, on line or catalogue.
As the carcases are pre-drilled to accept hinges to both sides, the facility to request Left or Right door opening would have been nice, especially as there is time between ordering and dispatch to allow this.
A good ship spoiled for a ha'porth of tar.
I e-mailed Victoria Plumb on the issue of shelves, but to no avail - they are unable to supply two extra shelves or fittings.
Just hope that the matching drawer unit is ok. Should be, given the approx. three week delay between order and delivery.
