Tonight I purchased a copy of Raven Strike DLC for Ghost Recon Future Warrior. I have the main game on Steam. The game page says it needs the main game and capsule to download the dlc. It says nothing about only working with a copy bought from GMG. When I downloaded and tried to install it said my copy was not compatible. I tried the game key with steam and uplay, but neither work.
The best bit was when I contacted customer Services via their chat client. Their line was that they had sent a key and there was nothing they could do about it, as they have a strict no refund policy. There was no advice, no apology for the fact that the incompatibility was not made clear on their web site and no customer service whatsoever. I have been a customer for a while and have made a number of purchases from this company. This didn't matter one bit to the CS rep that I spoke to. Their lack of any CS means that I will never use this company again, and advise others to steer clear. Yes they have cheap games (although Capsule is C##p), but if there is an issue with your purchase they will not help you at all. Its funny that they can take game keys back for games they sell on their site for other purchases, but cant refund a key at any other time. Also strange that if game can only be activated on Capsule that they cant cancel the key themselves..........very poor. It is a definite case of buyer beware
