Had an order with Currys for a fridge freezer and had to cancel as they still couldn't confirm a delivery date after a 2 week wait. Called Angel Appliances and they stated 1 week wait for delivery. Goods delivered on time, and was about £50 cheaper than Currys as well.
Did an on-line order, they confirmed payment. Then a few days later wrote and emailed to say they had a problem with their system and did not in fact take payment. They said a member of sales would ring to take a new payment over the phone. No call but sent a threatening email if I did not contact them!! The only way to call Victoria Plum is via an expensive 0844 number. They have still not replied to any of my emails to their Customer Services. The taps come with clockwise turn one side and anticlockwise turn the other side!! The online ordering system suggests things to go with your order, it recommended a pop up waste at extra cost, I then find it already comes with the taps!!
No instructions with anything, No fittings with bath panels, just the bits of wood in a box. Also be careful with the delivery cost, have a habit of jumping from £29.95 to £49.95 as you go to payment page.
Best thing I ever did financially was to get these guy's to sort out an annuity for me. They managed to nearly double the monthly pension I now receive compared to what I would have otherwise been paid without their help.
