I could write 100 pages on the absolute shambles of a company that Travel Republic have proved themselves to be. I have never been quite so angry with any organisation as I have been with them and they ruined our holiday experience with their incompetence and complete lack of concern for our situation. We were unfortunate enough to be in the situation of having our flight cancelled due to strike action in France. This, however, turned out to be the least of our problems and Travel Republic proceeded to make a mess of everything they were involved with in terms of "helping" to rearrange our accommodation for a few days later when WE booked a new flight ourselves. They cost us a huge amount of time and money and we most certainly would have been better off without them!! Even down to details such as booking a new airport transfer which they were apparently "working on" but never actually got sorted. We had to pay 48 euro for a taxi as well as the "missed" transfer and were later told by the transfer company that it would have been possible to rearrange it by a simple phone call had we known. So why, could someone tell me, were Travel Republic unable to achieve this?? I could literally go on all day about the terrible service we received but I don't even want them to take up any more of my time. NEVER BOOK WITH THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY. They do nothing for you and in fact make things more difficult. Do it yourself, that's my advice. It'll be easier and cheaper!
