I booked in a service which took ALL day it then had to go back a few days later to have a coil fitted but in the meantime my car overheated, seat belt fell off, oil stain on floor, airbag was missing, heater nob broken, handbrake still not working properly. Even after their second go at he vehicle I was not happy and reported them to trading standards (for what that is worth) My handbrake failed and crash into another vehicle. HALFORDS inspector came to look at the car and said immediately that he could see a catalogue of errors on the vehicle and that Halfords are definitely liable. Halfords were all over me for the past 4 weeks until today when their insurance company said that they were not liable so tough luck. I am taking them to court.
THEIR OWN INSPECTOR COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT HAD HAPPENED & WAS CONVINCED THEY WERE LIABLE - needless to say the area manager that was sooo sympathetic and just wanted to resolve the situation suddenly turned into an arse.
