Sent a table to a customer and made the arrangement by phone. It was collected by a friendly guy with no problem and with ease. He did mention that the table would be going to Coventry before heading back north to Washington (I'm in North Yorkshire)
When the table arrived with a smacked corner the customer went mad.....with me!
I had to refund the table and have the table collected via a different carrier of course. When I made a complaint I was told the table wasn't covered by their terms and conditions which I hadn't seen or been told about! I made the complaint as I was advised to do this by a girl I spoke to. I received 3 emails within 5 mins. One asking for more information then 2 telling me they wouldn't do anything or take it further! How dare they take my money for a service, damage my item and then not recognise their own poor service? NEVER EVER use them. I am now in touch with the Trading Standards office who will be on their case. The Citizens Advice are amazed at their shabby behaviour. I am not.
