Worst customer service I've ever dealt with!

After a couple of delivery attempts mid-week which we just missed I decided to get my parcel re-delivered on a Saturday morning by 1pm at a price of £12. To help set the scene the parcel included pretty much the bulk of my holiday clothes for a holiday starting mid-day Monday, all plans on Saturday morning cancelled.

DPD then seem to have taken that £12 and used it not to get it to me in the agreed time slot but return to sender. After speaking with the sender they confirm the parcel is heading back to their depot and I will be refunded once they return, in order to get what I ordered now I have to re-order and just to top off the whole problem many of the products are now out of stock to order, not that I would expect to receive them by Monday morning anyway.

It's pretty unacceptable by DPD for this to happen and will in future look to use companies who use more reliable courier services. From both personal and business use I will be looking elsewhere.

Hi Jason,

I'm really sorry this was your experience. This problem seems to have arisen because your parcel was processed as a Next Day (which, in this context, would have been classified as today). The parcel should have gone through on a Saturday service.

I see the parcel has since been delivered - is everything okay?
