Ordered Six Items for Oak Furniture Land and received them just behind schedule which was acceptable. However, on unpacking, two items were damaged.
Phoned customer services and they arranged for Homeserve to inspect and repair (two weeks later). technician turned up at 7.30 pm for our 6.00 pm (latest) appointment and he was unable to repair because of the time and the repair was rescheduled.
Another two weeks later the technician returned and did an excellent repair on one item but totally botched the other.
Phoned customer service again and was told that another technician would have to come and inspect the item. Explained my unhappiness with this and was given a load of old flannel from them. Awaiting another call from them to try to resolve the matter (on their terms).
It seems that the service is either excellent (if your items arrive undamaged) or extremely poor when you have a damaged item. They are totally disinterested and I would not recommend this company.
