Our main concern was that the air con was not working, we strongly felt that Travel Republic should have been aware of this and in turn passed this information onto customers. It clearly stated in the brochure air con was a facility yet it was not available and we would not have gone near the hotel if we had known .Apart from the air con not working the general appearance of the hotel is very shabby and run down, staff at reception very rude and adept at shrugging their shoulders, one even told me she didn't speak English!! We totally understand the adage 'you get what you pay for' and had no issue with eating out but we feel strongly that basic facilities advertised in the brochure should be made available or an alternative offered.
