Bought the 48 hour ticket for two adults, can't remember the exact figure but the cost was not insignificant being the thick end of £60. Breaking it down though unlimited travel for 48 hours on open top buses and river boats for two adults meant that this figure was in fact a very modest sum. Bought the ticket over the Internet from our hotel room and got it printed by the hotel business centre, no problem at all. Day one we got on the bus at about 9am in Kensington and had a sightseeing tour around London getting off at Westminster to take the river cruise to Greenwich. There we had a pleasant lunch and a couple of drinks, saw the old Naval College, Cutty Sark etc before returning by boat to Westminster passing The Tower, HMS Belfast , London Eye and under the open Tower Bridge before getting back on the bus to continue the open top bus tour arriving back at our stop in Kensington a little after 6pm. This meant that we had spent a whopping nine hours sightseeing around London - the best part being we did very little walking and so were fresh and NOT footsore to enjoy our evening out. Day 2 was spent in similar fashion. Without exception the staff were cheerful helpful and friendly. I struggle to find anything negative to say about my experience with this company but if pushed I would say that the touting for tips by the Lightermen on the river boats was slightly toe-curling, if you are inclined to tip for the tour commentary you will ,and if not inclined being asked to tip is uncomfortable and in fact likely to be counter productive.
