Switch was a month ago; I've swapped Virgin cable broadband for BT Infinity, which is faster, cheaper, and more reliable. I've also got rid of our unused Vrgin phone, and ported one of our two BT numbers to Vonage, which works very well with Infinity. Virgin customer service was pretty abysmal, which was why I switched; but I'm saving money and getting a better service.
I've had no problems at all with BT; their engineer turned up on time, and the service is good.
But my experience with Virgin was the exact opposite.
