Confused and asking question ?? That won't be answered

Ordering online is not one of my first real instinct to do but I had seen 3 items that I liked and thought I would have a go, made my order just yesterday haveing then a confirmation email of my order I was able to then track my order and seen to be expecting it Friday but then receiving an email today saying that I hadn't completed my order .. So really why did I get a confirmation email and why wasn't this brought to my attention when processing it ?? Or even worse is this a scam email !?? As I am worried and wanting my order by next week I will have to process my details again and then some of the items were last of my size will they still be there ?? I'm left with too many question ...
