Delivery didn't turn up day it was due. When I phoned I was referred to Yodel. Told by Yodel delay on bed and to contact yourselves. On speaking to Stephanie she said it was my own fault for not ringing earlier in the week, but as delivery had been booked for the Friday and had been confirmed on the payment receipt, via email, that was nonsense. As I am partially disabled and also suffer with arthritis I had already arranged to have someone here to put the bed together for me who was then going away on business for 10 days. When I explained this to Stephanie she said it was not her problem but could only arrange for delivery the following Wednesday, when my friend was away,, but as I had no other bed I had to take it. Stephanie then hung up the phone without confirming the delivery date. I then had to ring back for the third time. This time I spoke to Sarah who tried to arrange an earlier date but Yodel couldn't or wouldn't help. She was extremely polite and even spoke to her line manager to see if there was anything more they could do. Unfortunately there wasn't. If you are going to use another company to deliver your goods then you need one that doesn't destroy your name. Perhaps you also need to train your staff in good manners.
