I ordered reading glasses as my new varifocals were useless for that purpose. Using the new reading glasses I soon found (by rotating the glasses) that my right cylindrical lens axis was wrong. Not a problem with the glasses - the prescription was wrong.
It was worth placing the order just to find the problem. I shall use this service again - initially to get the correct reading glasses.
On Thursday morning (17 Feb. 2011) I ordered a wheelchair for delivery on Friday. My card was accepted and I received an acknowledgement by email. I 'phoned at 4:35 pm on Friday to progress the order and was cut off at 4:55 after waiting to be connected to customer services.
I 'phoned again on Monday at 8 am explaining why this product is needed urgently and made it clear I would have to make alternative arrangements if I did not have an early response. I was informed that I would be called back. I called again at 11:20 am to be told the item is out of stock and would not be available for some weeks. I asked for an immediate refund, including the 24 hr delivery fee.
Naturally, I would not risk trying to use this source again for any future needs. An inefficient service wastes much time for those at the receiving end and incurrs costs associated with waiting for deliveries.
The order has now been placed elsewhere (at a better price) for delivery tomorrow (Tuesday).
