24 hour delivery takes 72 hours!

When a parcel is sent on a 24 hour service, with a large A4 label marked 'Perishable items - Do Not Return To Depot' you'd imagine that any one with basic english would understand that the parcel needs a little urgency. Not with Parcelforce. Nope. They don't even attempt a delivery on the 19th the day it's supposed to arrive, they re-load it onto the van for the 20th, but don't even attempt a delivery. Then on the 21st, 72 hours, not 24 hours later, they deliver it to a neighbour, don't card the address, even though there is someone in at the delivery address! The customer services were spoken to 4 times in total, helpful, well not three of them, although the lady this morning was. The other three just repeated the mantra 'it is our busiest time of the year'. No kidding? In case you are interested Parcelforce, and I doubt you are, the package number was PBHE7023261001.

Westin Gourmet

Just didn't arrive

Ordered 13th, supposed delivery 19th, then told by Parcelforce 20th, contacted both company and Parcelforce (Parcelforce 3 times today by phone, twice by email, Westin's line had switched to an answer phone by 4pm), order finally delivered Sat am, not to the right house (yes we were in), but 12 is close enough! Have to say I have no idea why Parcelforce can't understand the instructions when they are plastered in a large label on the top of the box "Perishable - Do Not Return To Depot". Now contacted their customer services by their emailed 'ticket' system and await their response to wether the meat is indeed consumable still as it is right at the limit of the 72 hours and all the packing had melted. Sadly, our first order and a terrible experience.

Amended to 3 stars from 1 : As I said, to be fair to Westin, they seem to have been let down by Parcelforce. A week later, a ticket opened with customer service, and answered, and one phone call and a refund agreed without any quibble. If it was just Westin I had had to deal with I'd certainly have given 4 or 5.

Worst energy company ever!

I joined First-Utility back in 2011 and then came to move house with a credit balance on my account last November (2012). At first I was promised a credit would be applied to the new account. Then I was told this is impossible so a cheque would be posted. Then I was asked to prove I hadn't cashed the cheque! Then I was told a credit would be raised to the next bill! 8 months later I'm still waiting. Give them a miss. Absolutely terrible.
