I ordered my bike from sigma cycles and the guys at the store were extremely helpful. I was later phoned to say that my bike was ready for collection (tuesday). i said that i could not pick the bike up until saturday morning. When i arrived at the store i was asked to wait for a few minutes while one of the guys went and collected my bike. 3o minutes passed until the guy came back down and stated that they just had to put the computer on it, redo the grip tape and attach the trI bars i had ordered. I had presumed that this had been done as i was told on the phone that the bike was ready to collect. I had to wait a further 30minutes before the bike came down. I had presumed that with all the measurements that were taken when fitting the bike it would be ready for me to ride but no, the saddle had not be correctly positioned and when i got the bike home the gears were not all clicking into place. I was extremely frustrated so i took the bike to a local shop to have it sorted.
i was told that sigma's customer service was exceptional but i am afraid that my experience was from from adequate. There were not enough staff on the shop floor to cope with the customers in the shop and subsequently i am reluctant to return my custom.
