Ordered a very special canvas 40cm x 60cm print costing around £50. One and a half weeks later and five days after despatch notification Jessops just told me to keep waiting. The canvas is a 50th birthday present for a dear friend which we hope to present on the 31st. Jessops can't give me a tracking number. I won't be ordering another canvas from Jessops.
We have purchased an Oak sideboard and a Walnut table and chairs. Both purchases were excellent value and quality. They were well manufactured with substantial wood and fixings, and although heavy are a good indication of the strength and density of the timber. One minor problem with one chair but their customer service was prompt to put right the situation to our full satisfaction.

If you get a great deal buying a phone and contract dont assume you will get the same quality of service when it comes to fixing a faulty or damaged phone. Several times CWs own repair department has said phones we have taken back have had water damage. Which was never true. One time they sent back a photo of the inside of the phone, but when we sent the phone to another repairer they took another photo which prooved the photo CW had supplied was not of my phone.
If you ever need a repair insist the phone is sent back to the manufacturer and not CW own repair centre. They will try to put you off by saying it can take 3 months sending it to the manufacturer. But from my experince it normally comes back between 7-10 days
Never knowingly undersold is their slogan.. or price matching for you and I.. What I like about John Lewis is the first contact sales staff. Their only job is to assist you. They never have to close a sale, that is up to you. They are not on commisison and don't just push their own brands. I like their TV and electricals, my wife likes everything else but...
Just used JEC for the first time a what a great find. I ordered a tumble drier on-line which was not a stock item for them.
39 hours after receiving the order they delivered it just as promised. The delivery driver kept in contact so I knew what he was doing.

I have had mobile phones for twenty five years. I have been on all the UK networks at one time or another and travelled the world with my work. By far Vodafone has the best international and UK technical standard of any network. Overseas customer service offices are one of my "hates" and Vodafone have generally managed to avoid this pitfall. I think roaming and picture data charges are to high. Vodafone are definately market leaders and not followers.
Not the best quality network because it is on the 1800GSM band causing more call cut off and distortion than networks on the 900GSM band like 02 and Vodafone. Their customer service and billing department seems to make more mistakes than others and are quick to take a negative view point. Orange were really unhelpfull when my daughter ran up massive mobile phone bills. They offered nothing to prevent it happening again and no support during a difficult period many years ago.
I have always been treated like a welcome fare paying passenger when travelling with BA. Unlike several cut price airlines that seem to treat you like cattle where only the young fit and fast get the best seats and queue the least. Terminal 5 at Heathrow used by British Airways is a great place to start your flying experience. My wife loves the shopping. The senior experienced staff on British Airways are a real asset to their business.
I have been using TrustPilot for a while at work on a company profile and I find it a usefull tool when researching busineeses. Sometimes the business I am looking at has no reviews but this is only to be expected in the early stages of a good idea for a consumer informative web site. But I am sure this will become more and more usefull tool providing the content is accurate and factual. Well done to TrustPilot with more usefull and honest reviews I am confident you will get five stars
I have had several new Mercedes cars. Although I love the feeling of owning and driving Mercedes cars I have been disappointed with the build quality and after sales service. Top Gear reported for several years running that Mercedes was always in the bottom of the JD Power survey. Combined with labour service charges at £105 per hour in the UK and £57 per hour in France to do the same job means for me Mercedes UK has joined the rip off Britain club. But, it wont stop me buying another crazy as it may seem. I just give the dealers a harder time when negotiating and making sure they do the warranty jobs before it runs out.
We won a Monarch Airlines competition. The prize won was a voucher for two return flights to the Canary Islands. Monarch flew us out but cancelled our return flights and said they could not get us back to the UK for a week. But that is not the bad bit. They said because we had got the flights for free Monarch was not going to pay any expenses or accomodation charges even though they had cancelled the flight. We took them to county court and won because Monarch did not make us aware of the competition prize full terms and conditions they wanted to apply. Monarch should have made us aware of ALL the prize conditons both at competition entry and when receiving the winners prize voucher. The court case number was 0QT63850 in Dartford County Court. Monarch Airlines should not have ignored our letters to Customer Services. The local Monarch rep should have been given more power to deal with the problem in the resort including looking after us.. Monarch state on their web site "Customer care and service lie at the heart of the Group’s business approach" .. They must be joking.. Very poor show.. Shame on you Monarch Airlines Ltd
What a great invention Ebay. Introduced my wife to Ebay now she is hooked. You need to be carefull. Not all your purchases will be good, but the odds are in your favour. Keep away from main stream teenagers products and designer clothing is my advice

Amazon for me is one of the best if not the best internet sales business there is out there. I use them for work and family purchases. I am an Amazon Prime member and totally relie on them over the christmas periods. I have never been let down by Amazon. Only once when we bought a Playstation 3 on the first release day was there ever a problem, and this was caused by the local Dartford courier not Amazon. It is a real pleasure to use their web site, and they never ceased to amaze me with the variety of things they sell. I have recommended Amazon to many of my friends and family and they have all gone on to continue to use them.
After being messed about by another company and kept waiting for well three weeks I found Electricalsales.co.uk who supplied what I was looking for in two days. Brilliant company with good prices. I would not hesitate to use them again
