Save your money for better software.
To make this a more positive and constructive post, I'd like to give my constructive criticism.
Internet Brands needs to have a serious paradigm change in their upper management. They need to lower their egos, look less at their own bank accounts and a lot less at the business numbers and spend a whole lot more time with their customers. They need to get in touch with them, make amends with them, admit to being the cause for all this bad feedback and let everyone know they want to change, will change and how, in great detail. Then they need to follow through and do it ALL THE TIME from that point forward.
IB has lost a lot of trust. Practically all of it. They brought out products time and again in very poor condition, vB5 being the last. They are wasting a lot of the customers money working on getting shoddy work back to a basically a half-way decent quality and they aren't even there yet with vB5. By far not there yet. So vB5 isn't going to be really viable for a lot of customers for its price for a long time.
My suggestion on that has been the same since IB said vB5 is "not beta". That is right. They didn't call it gold, but now, if you buy the software, once you download it, your 30 days of support clock starts ticking. And vB5 isn't gold at all.
At any rate, my simple suggestion is for IB to take vB5 back to beta status and again start listening to customers. Fix the serious issues in vB4 too, like the PHP5.4 support and the IE10 issue. These must be fixed, if you want to save face with any customer IB, new and old.
