After missing the original delivery, I have tried twice to collect from UK Mail (50 mile round trip each time).
The first time, I was told it was out for delivery again despite selecting the 'collect from depot' option on their website the previous evening.
I tried again to collect today after calling the call centre due to a lack of information on the website. I was assured that the parcel was at the depot, and would be kept there until the end of the week. On arrival at the depot, I was told it has already been returned to the sender!
Other carriers call in advance of deliveries, and have up to date information on their websites. UK Mail are incapable of any of this, and as I didn't pay to send the parcel, they aren't interested in my complaint.
I've started using Topcashback instead. My last Quidco transaction took 11 months to pay out and I'm still waiting for payment on other transactions that are more than a year old.
Topcashback don't charge an annual fee and their cashback rates are higher.
