The advice I received on the phone about which inversion table was the most suitable for me was very good and the delivery was very quick. However, I think this company could do with taking a few lessons from Ikea when preparing the instruction sheet on how to put the thing together. The written instructions were not that clear. Simple pictures clearly showing the correct procedure as with all Ikea purchases is much better than pages of confusions pictures and words as was the case with the inversion table manual. I managed to build an Ikea wardrobe on my own in less time and with less hassle than it took me to build the Inversion table!!! All the necessary bolts/screws/spanners etc were not clearly labelled and did not come in a separate box as is the case with Ikea. The instructional DVD on how to put the inversion table together was slightly better, but it was made in America and used American pronunciation and terms which was not ideal. Equally as a woman who is not an olympic body builder or weight lifter I found it extremely difficult to put the inversion table together on my own. I was told on the phone that it was really easy and would only take about 10 minutes to do - not accurate at all. Some of the pieces that needed to be attached were extremely heavy and I ended up pulling a muscle in my shoulder in the struggle to get the thing together. Also if you are on your own working out the correct balance for the table is rather tricky too and to adjust the bar according to your height is quite difficult as the pin you have to pull out is very stiff and difficult. Also I have found adjusting the foot/ankle grip also quite difficult as the pin you have to pull out is also very stiff/heavy and is causing strain in my shoulders every time I use the table.
On the positive side once you manage to get the table set up to your personal requirements and get it balanced properly it is good and slowly I am beginning to see/feel the benefits of using the inversion table on a daily basis.
Finally I think all companies selling products to be self assembled at home should use people who have never seen the article before and who are not particularly good at putting things together and not some super fit/muscled young guy for their instructional dvds - as well as using simple pictures and not pages of written complicated instructions in the instruction manual. Buying a product to improve your health should not seriously effect your stress levels because its so difficult to assemble!!!!
