Very pushy salesman, shockingly bad customer service!!!

Betta living arranged for a kitchen designer to arrive on Saturday morning at 9.30, I informed them I had an appointment at 12.30 and asked if that was enough time, they said yes. Designer arrives late on Saturday morning, introduced himself and took ages going on about the company. The process went on and on, eventually ending with a nice kitchen, but not really how I wanted it, and well over budget. We were fast approaching 12.30 and the designer was pushing for a sale, I have never met anybody as pushy. Finally he wore me down and I agreed stupidly! I handed over a £800 deposit. Later that day I was thinking about it and felt annoyed that I had been bullied into buying something I didn't want knowing the designer knew I was under time Constraints. I called betta living to cancel it, and was told to call back Monday morning. So I called first thing Monday, was told I had to cancel in writing, and that somebody would call me back. No one called. I called Tuesday and Wednesday and was told the directors had to decide and I would recieve a call back. The call never came. I read lots of reviews on here and a lady called [sensitive information removed] responded to them, so I emailed [sensitive information removed] informing her I was cancelling. Guess what? No response. I called Thursday spoke to another salesman who tried his best to talk me out of cancelling, finally he took my bank details for a refund. I was told it will be in my bank on Tuesday. I will wait and see! I still have no proof that my order has been cancelled, only the salesman's word, as they have provided nothing in writing!
The cutsomer service this company provides is appalling! They are very quick to contact you when they want to sell you something, however when you want to cancel, they don't want to know! I am going to make a formal compliant with Next about betta living, and if my money is not refunded on Tuesday I will seek legal action.
