Enjoyed our Big Bus tour - very hot day for riding out in the sun but had a good time. We had only the one day pass so couldn't take full advantage of the Hop On, Hop Off opportunity - mainly just rode the route and listened to commentaries, good in both recorded and live versions. The red route is live - everything in it is covered by the much longer blue route. The green route wasn't very interesting. One thing I noticed was that the buses were running much earlier and later than I had understood from their website. I suppose this is a good thing but I wish I had known in advanced as we would have planned things differently. Buses were quite frequent but it was difficult to get seats on the top deck of the red line (live commentary) and you really can't see much from the lower deck, though if you wait a stop or two you can probably move up to the top when others get off - I'd recommend that rather than waiting for an emptier bus.
