I was searching for a macbook air for my son and i stumbled upon a refurbished one at 649. It was however out of stock, so i waited for nearly a week, until it "came back in stock". I paid for the item and got four emails over the length of 5 days until i suddenly received an email telling me that the item "wasn't in stock and never would be" and that i should look for alternative. The nearest alternative, however, was another 100£ more. During a 45m call with rude customer service people, being bounced from one department to another, it emerged that the cheapest alternative wasn't in stock either, and the closest one was 850£, 200£ more expensive than the original item I paid for. The useless monkeys behind the phone basically told me that Currys wouldn't try and remedy the situation. When i asked for a refund, they told me that it would take "Up to 5 days for the money to be returned to my account". So basically they took my money for 10 days and did nothing to help me whatsoever. Will never shop here again.
