Part of my order wasn't in stock(even though it showed to be in stock online). This led to me having to wait in on two occasions. The first took the FULL 7 working days to arrive and the latter turned up 1 day late. I tried several times to contact 118 customer services by email and phone. They stated their phone lines were down due to a recent electrical storm and promised me that they would call me back(on two occasions). I never received a call back. The "receptionist" refused to give me a time frame as to which hour, day or even year I was to receive said telephone call.
I am happy with the products I purchased and happy with the cost of them. Luckily my golfing holiday isn't for another month or I would've been panicking where my items were. Further to the telephone calls I made(when it was possible to get through) I also sent a couple of emails which were answered at the end of the day 5pm. Perhaps checking a little more frequently might've saved me having to make phone calls due to the lack of communication previously. I never received any emails with regards to tracking numbers for my parcel. I've given 118 the benefit of the doubt on this occasion considering the recent electrical storm and would hope they are able to improve on their communications and not overpromise and under-deliver.
