I am fuming at the moment! Purchased nappies from kiddicare which arrived on time and had to return a few boxes as little one had outgrown it. Thought will book with interlink as they are the proffered partners! Booked up collection date and paid online and all good until the date if collection. Bear in mind I am on maternity leave, do not drive and live a good few miles from any shops so pretty much a stay indoors mum until husband comes home. I can even see the only accessible road from my ground floor hall window. On collection date, settled next to window with my 7 week old and decided not even to disappear for a shower in case I did not hear the Door bell. Lo and behold 5.30pm arrives and no collection van. No numbers to ring so mailed customer services to consult rearrangement and guess what they said?
I can confirm this collection was attempted on 13:37pm. The collection was marked as unable to collect flats no access.
In order to now have the parcel collected you will need to place a new booking via the Interlink Direct Webster.
I can request a part refund for the none delivery of the parcel. You would be charged for the failed collection.
Apparently they CAN CONFIRM that delivery was attempted at 13.37pm?!!! I think it might have been an invisible van that it went right past my ground floor window and I missed it. And reason for non collection stated that there was no access to flats!! Again what!???? There are clearly indicated door numbers on the bells and the main door to my block of flats broken, so he could have walked straight in without even having to ring buzzer! The most appalling thing was I was offered a part refund of fee I paid and told I would need to rebook collection and pay a non collection charge?? Seriously .. This tactic might have worked for some poor soul who would have belie ed it was their fault that collection was missed and unfortunately the poor soul is not me as I was particularly alert that day! I just need my parcel collected and don't see why I should bear the cost of incompetent drivers. Also why would u request my number if your not going to use it to ring if you have troubles?? I have just replied back to the customer services team telling them nicely to rearrange my delivery with no further costs and have received no further reply from them. Agree my emotions are running high being a new mum but this is a simple logistics issue not rocket science to get it soo wrong and have the guts to charge the customer for their faults!!!
Collections customer beware of issue when placing order with this company.
