The ferry trip was good, there and back, however we did miss our outbound ferry due to heavy traffic on the way to Dover. We phoned up Aferry to enquire if there would be a charge to change the ferry to a later one, to which we were told there would be no charge and all we had to do is show up and ask for a later ferry.
When we got to Dover and checked in, we explained that we talked with Aferry and that we were told there was no charge, but we were told by the myferrylink person at the check in that there was a charge from them. We paid the charge, but really Aferry should have informed us over the phone that there would be a charge from myferrylink
