Never, ever buy a bed from Dreams, the shop salesman was helpful but it went downhill from there, the delivery staff were rudeand unhelpful, they made one attempt to carry the bed frame upstairs then stated it wouldn't fit but tried to make me accept the delivery anyway by encouraging me to open the boxes and try to carry the contents upstairs by myself-even though I have a physical disability. The sales team I spoke to by phone advised that the bed could be exchanged for a different one and suggested the delivery men measured the width of the stairs to ensure an alternative could be delivered- the delivery men really didn't like that and complained repeatedly, they then initially refused to take the bed frame away with them stating that was against company policy but then changed their minds but refused to leave the mattress even though it was paid for, and legally my property. When I tried to discuss all of this with customer services, because I'd been charged extra for exchanging the bed even though it cost less than the original and the store staff had told me I was entitled to a refund, I was unfortunate enough to speak to the most unpleasant and hostile young man I have ever encountered, he was rude, abusive, unhelpful and refused to allow me to tell him what my concerns were but repeatedly interrupted to tell me I had to do as he said. He also wouldn't allow me to speak to a manager or give me the contact details of the complaints department. All in all this is the worst consumer experience I have ever had and would strongly advise you to go and sleep on park bench rather than buy a bed from this company.
