Quick, straight forward, no complaints.

Ordered a Bellroy wallet from them (because Bellroy were out of stock). The wallet was the same price as it was on Bellroy's site. They delivered it quickly. Everything was smooth and simple.


Poor customer service, non-existent communication

Tried three times to open an account (over a span of three months). Each time TalkTalk cancelled the order "accidentally".

To make matters worse, they didn't tell me when they cancelled. I wasted two days' holiday (roughly £180 worth) waiting for engineers, and had to call each time they cancelled to make them pay back the £126 up front line rental because they "forgot" to do that too.


Beware auto-renewal reminder charge

The service is fine, the uptime is fine, it's good that they have 24/7 live chat. I've been happy with One.com for years until recently. I've been running a university club's website with them and every year or two, new students take over as the committee and run the club.

Unfortunately the committee most recently didn't check the administrative email address. Therefore they missed the notification from One.com that payment was due. One.com charged us a £10 'reminder' fee. I went onto live chat and explained the situation (including that this is a non-profit university club with access to restricted budget) and they told me they'd sent the debt to a collection agency (less than 2 months overdue) and would not withdraw the £10.

This left a bitter taste in my mouth and I decided to switch providers. While this is not a terrible or malicious act by the company, I believe they should have made their reminder fee much clearer at registration (it's buried of course, in the terms and conditions).

Their website is good but their mobile apps are awesome and their mobile website is the best I've seen of any bookies, hands down. They also have the best BTTS odds (look for Goals Galore).
