All I want to do is move my service when I move house. Should be easy you say? Well you must be on crack. 4 hours on hold. still not spoken to the home moving department. Customer service deplorable. They have all my details, my new address, my moving date, yet won't just sort this out. When asked why, I'm told because I need to agree to the contract for the new address. Is this similar to the contract I agreed to for my current address I asked? Just the same. Riiiight... Can't cancel because it'll cost 180 quid. Move in a week. Looks like I'm going to have no phone and broadband for weeks, because let's be honest, even if by some miracle I hold for an hour tomorrow and actually get through, there are precisely two chances they'll be able to activate my new address within a week, even though it's a current BT line. BT Infinity is dire anyway. You'd get better WiFi coverage by trying to piggyback on the wireless dongle plugged into the laptop of one of their customer service advisors in Bangalore.
