NEVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE - JUST DON'T DO IT - YOU WILL REGRET IT.
And Don't think that the standard replies from "staff" (made up names) on here mean anything - some member of staff i spoke to after the reply said he'd be returning the said damaged/refurb to me in the same condition. Sadly, they are obviously frauding people by selling refurbs as "RAM upgrades" - so you'll never suspect the open box, scratches, problems etc, etc. It's not a contractual issue, it's organised crime.
I am going through a terrible experience with them now - they sold me a laptop that was scratched, had graphics driver issues and when they upgraded the RAM, they botched the job completely. Turns out a quick google search will show that they have a reputation of selling refurbs as brand new, people complaining of used laptops turning up when they buy new. We are just taking them to court, as they seem to have no grasp of customer care or understanding of their obligations to the consumer. They have stated that they can't issue a refund or return despite having sent a courrier to pick it up and the laptop being with them - listing all the issues that made me return it in the first place as excuses not to refund or replace!! So basically they are threatening to keep over £1000 of laptop but not refund or replace???! There are many reputable shops out there - this is not one of them. Support these better companies and shop elsewhere - put them out of business.
Also, they tried to sell me £100 worth of unsolicited "insurance policy" - i did not ask for this at all, the total was confirmed as about £1050 on the phone, i got an email saying the total was £1150 - they had basically stolen £100 from the card and placed the "insurance policy" on the invoice to cover up the fraud. I thankfully noticed and cancelled it within the hour. Maybe this is why they decided to send me a refurb in bad condition instead of the brand new one i bought?
TIP - anyone having issues with these in future - don't go through their process, simply return the item with a legal decleration asking for a refund, send it via recorded delivery and bypass the conning system, and not have to deal with criminals.

Julie Norman found this review useful
I had a 250 mile ride ahead, i bought a set of 4 inner tubes and a bike multitool over a week in advance. The inner tubes arrived after 5 days, but they were the wrong type as well as only 2 being in the bag. I had to rush to a shop to buy some, and pay even more. Eventually tredz got back and refunded me. Useless waste of time.
But i was still hoping the bike multi tool would arrive in time. It didn't. Tredz left me with no spare inner tubes and no basic bike tools on a 250 mile ride despite me ordering well over a week before i set off. It's not only bad service but it is disgusting. My wheel did start to wobble after about 200 miles, and all i'd have needed to stop a constant wobble would have been the multi tool i had bought an paid for, which would have had the spoke tuner in it. I arrive back a week later, and it had arrived, but was of no use whatsoever to me, arriving much later that i had paid for it, meaning in effect that they had conned me. I've also gone for services at tredz cardiff, and had troubles. Time for a new shop to go to, i have promised myself. They don't care at all about the biking community.
