Reserved some headphones, nipped to my local store. Paid and took away. No mention of warranty or any sign of annoying sales staff. A very nice friendly experiance. Will I shop again? Yes.
I flew to Guilin Airport with my wife, sister and mother in law and the service was very efficient. Friendly staff, great on flight entertainment (Cartoon Mr Bean) and lots of free water and snacks. Quick flight but I enjoyed every minute of it.
Great website, found a model I liked, called them and spoke to a nice guy called Ged. Model ordered, delivered. Very well packaged and I am over the moon with how nice it is. Very detailed and just incredible really. I will be phoning you soon to buy the new 1/16 scale 1947 David Brown Cropmaster. Thanks.
Bought a phone from the Long Eaton store. I thought the sales person was ok until there was small talk about what I used it for, how many text I send, etc. Basically trying to put me on a contract. I just wanted a sim free phone. Leave me alone! They advised me and another person I saw in the store about updating the firmware to the latest (good advice).
I ordered the big tasty medium meal from the Bulwell branch about 4 days ago and the service was super quick. Parking spaces for motorbikes which was great. The chips were hot, orange juice cold, but the big tasty burger had no bacon on it, lots of lettuce and barely warm.
I went with a friend to buy a TV. Friendly staff until you mention you want to buy it now with cash and you don't want any warranty with it. Up until that point the sales person was really great.
I don't need to give lots of reasons why I don't want the warranty. Simple No followed by no problem is all it takes. All I got was, what if it falls down the stairs? It won't be going up the stairs. What if it falls off the wall? It isn't going on the wall. In the end I just said, if you keep going on about this I will walk out and buy from Comet about 2 mins away.
The sales guy then shut up, processed my order, gave me a date and I left.
Each time I visit Richersounds in Nottingham I get brilliant service. I have had a few problems but each time they were resolved and they advised I fill out the feedback card. A few weeks later I have a £10 gift voucher to spend at RicherSounds.
Top notch service and support.
(If I am honest I prefer the old shop layout used in the 90's, it all seems a bit currys/comet now).
I bought a printer online to reserve and collect at the Castle Marina retail PC WORLD store. Ourside was a huge sign saying, for reserve and collect items, please go direct to the Business support section of PC WORLD. So, I did. I waited behind a que for about 40 mins only to be told, why are you queing here. You need to goto the other side of the shop to reserve and collect items.
I asked, then why is there a sign outside saying goto business support? Guy then went to find my item.
Item found, went to the checkout and the sales guy was really friendly, until the point I refused to buy a USB cable or printer cartridges. I said, you get two cartridges in the box and I have a USB cable at home, in fact several. He was adament their were no cartridges inside, even though I pointed out to him on the box it said, included in the box, 1 x black cartridge. 1 x colour cartridge. The sales guy was then very rude, took my card and didn't say anything after that. No even thanks or bye.
If it wasn't for the low price and the fact it was for a friend waiting in the car park I would of just walked out.
My job at the time? Senior Laptop Engineer for The Tech Guys.
I worked for them, but would not buy from them again. EVER!
I bought a 42" Mirai TV online from directtvs about 1-2 years ago. I chose the option to collect as I live a few junctions away from a local collection showroom.
I got the email to say the item was in stock and ready to collect. I called them just to make sure it was there. I drove there (50 mile round trip). The guys in the showroom had a look for it but there was no TV there. After phoning there office they confirmed no TV had been delivered.
So, they appologised and arranged for it to be delivered a week later to the showroom. A week later I called twice to confirm the item was there on the date they said. Just to make sure I didn't waste my journey and again they said the item is ready to collect. I got a Taxi there and surprise surprise. No TV. They called there office and again, confirmed it hasn't been delivered.
After kicking up a fuss they said they'd deliver it to my home free of charge. So I took that option.
I received the TV as promised and the TV is great to be honest but why the poor service? I wrote a letter to complain and got a reply saying they would look into it and nothing more.
Great product, great price. Lack of comminication between their departments and abysmal service.
