Smashed up my parcel which looked as though it had been run over by a car when it arrived. Heavy duty espresso cups which have survived 20 years being used in a bar, one completely bisected, another 2 had huge chunks gouged out.
Now I find that china items are not covered. Was I asked for the content of the parcel when they took my money. No.
They have an exclusions list which is remarkable. I don't think anything at all is covered for compensation.
Many complaints on the ebay users website point to almost deliberate-looking damage, or so it would seem to the casual observer. Some users have specific instances of seeing their delivery agents throwing parcels over fences into their gardens. A shocking lack of care. DO NOT USE.
