After having saved up for 4 months I finally had enough money to buy my boys some wardrobes for their new bedroom, I didn't want flat pack furniture as my husband and I don't have the time or energy after working all week and I wanted them to be perfect.
The delivery driver turned up at 7.30am on 19.08.13 and moaned that my children were still asleep in the room so left the furniture at the top of the stairs and left.
As we unpacked the furniture we were happy with the first wardrobe even though I thought they would be more solid paying £300 each but the second wardrobe had a chunk out of the bottom and the delivery drivers had already left. I phoned the customer services on a 0845 number costing me more money only to be told they would replace part of the wardrobe, after telling them this was not acceptable they told me I would have to wait a week for a new one and the delivery would be on 28.08.13 ( yesterday) .
I had to take yet another day off work and when I unpacked the wardrobe the packaging had been stapled to the wood leaving a huge scratch mark on the front. Also the doors were not aligned properly and so I set about phoning AGAIN and was told if I kept the wardrobe they would give me £40.00 refund, which I refused as I paid £300 and now as I have no more days off until Christmas I have to wait until 21st September so it can be delivered on a Saturday !!! I am disgusted with the way I have been treated and still have no wardrobe and no compensation ! ARGOS I WOULD SUGGEST YOU GET NEW HANDY MEN AND DELIVERY DRIVERS AND I SIT AND WAIT FOR YET ANOTHER WARDROBE !! LETS HOPE ITS PERFECT SO I CAN FINALLY HAVE A COMPLETE NEW BEDROOM FOR MY CHILDREN.
