I set off for my drive home from Cambridge to Southampton and I stopped at a petrol station as my car was making very funny sounds, and the customer service assistant suggested that before I start my journey I go to Halfords to get engine oil...
I arrived at 6.10, ten minutes after closing time, but they were still letting the staff out the door and as soon as I explained my problem, Michael said '"we can't say no to a damsel in distress". Not only did he come and look at my car to top up the oil, but behind the counter he had a bottle of oil with a puncture mark that was unsellable so he offered me it for free. He was there for half an hour after closing time, and was so helpful and kind. Thank you very much to Michael for making my experience of Halfords such a positive one, I will definitely be coming back again!
