I would like to buy from this business, who have excellent reviews.
Having been scammed before, I decided however to do some research.
The one thing that puts me off is that the business does not give any information on its website.
It does not disclose company name or number or trading address, in breach of the Companies (Trading Disclosure) Regulations 2008.
Of course it may be an individual or partnership, but even so needs to make such disclosure under the Distance Selling Regulations.
I did a whois lookup. This shows a protected address and the name of a company (Gameload Ltd) as technical contact. However Gameload Ltd does not exist on Companies House.
Given the good reviews, this may well be a real business, in which case I implore the owners to comply with their legal requirements, which are there to protect the consumer by giving information about with whom we are contracting.
