Nice place but needed attention

When we arrived were supposed to have welcome pack, wine chocolates flowers and milk, none of which were provided. After walking round and looking did not appear that the property had been properly cleaned as there were many dead flys and bugs on window sills. Biggest complaint would be where the patio doors opened up as there was a two foot drop with no steps onto the outside concrete patio! Would not recommend this property to anyone with young children as could be dangerous! When trying to leave property on say morning at 8:45 am to go to Exeter could not get out gates as were locked and had no code to exit, tried calling manager of property, no answer, rang the home number, no answer, rang doorbell, no answer had to keep pressing buzzer for five minutes til finally got a response and gates were opened! The stay was nice though clearly have too many complaints (with photos to back up complaints) to warrant recommending or staying in the property again!
