The member of staff picking up my computer was well aware of the contents of the package, due to me notifying him what was inside was a fragile computer being sent for repairs.
Not only did he hold only one of the box handles tipping the box onto a side other than the THIS WAY UP warnings stated, he decided it wise to simply drop my computer from hip height onto the concrete below. I would not have posted this or bothered signing up to declare it online, but this is the SECOND time it has happened. I am utterly appalled that the training of the staff clearly allows them to think that reading the proper handling of a package does not apply to them. If my computer had any chance of being repaired, I'm sure there will be multiple new damages to it for the mishandling at DPD.
Two different staff members, both unable to care at all for the customer's fragile items. Beyond words at how disgusted I am now. £1,000 worth of computer equipment, and I have watched it crash to the ground twice now out of DPD arms. Thanks :@
