Appauling customer service

My fiancé and i bought a new camera on 28/12/12 to use on our 3 week holiday to Thailand over the new year. The camera then malfunctioned and stopped working 2 days into our trip! On our arrival back to the UK we sent the camera in for repair, which they did without a problem. Took the camera on our next holiday in June and the exact same thing happened a couple of days into our trip, same fault! So 2 holidays, hundreds of pounds spent on them and no photos to show for it!
On taking the camera back into Currys in bedford for an exchange or a refund we were told by the manager than even though its still under guarantee, the guarantee is for repairs only and that when we bought it we were offered a 'replacement guarantee' for an extra amount of money that we did not take. So for this reason they can only offer us a repair.
So even though the camera is FAULTY due to a manufacturers error and has NEVER worked properly and is damaged through no fault of our own, they still refuse to give us our money back and will continue to send it in for repairs just for the same thing to happen all over again until our guarantee runs out!!!!!!
Awful company, with disgraceful policies. Will never be shopping there again.
