Ordered some tiles from the website which was straightforward. Received an email letting me know that they had been dispatched, which was nice. Unfortunately someone picked the wrong tiles, and when I phoned to explain, Tons of Tiles were so apologetic and quick to rectify the situation. The proper tiles arrived the very next day, so all in all I was really impressed with their customer service.
Ordered a tent canopy for our camping trip, only to find on opening in middle of field on a cool and blustery evening, with the sun rapidly going down, that there were no poles with the canopy. Might sound a tad dramatic, but it made what turned out to be a miserable trip, that little bit more miserable. Called Simply Hike first thing the next day, where i told them that if they could courier down a replacement that day, I would be more than happy. Only to be told their courier company wouldn't deliver to a campsite, only a 'proper' address. Really?
Yes, they gave me a refund, as they are no longer stocking, and yes I received the obligatory apology when I called. You could argue that I should have checked it upon arrival, but more importantly, they should have checked it before sending it out. good job it wasnt a tent! Bah humbug!
