I bought a pair of "Lunar Boots Star II White Wellies", they arrived on the day Shoetique estimated and were just as I'd imagined them...except that I'd not realised that the faux fur lining extended right down inside the foot of the boot. It makes for lovely snuggly toes, but until the lining has flattened a bit, the boots are a little tight.
Over all the boots are as described and the service from Shoetique was exemplary.
Making the photobook took longer than I had expected, but I don't think that this would have been any different with another provider.
Starting the process from the very beginning I had to select the photos to be included, scan them and, as I chose not to use the tool provided, I "designed" the layout of each page. I found it really helpful when enlarging the scanned photographs that a prompt appeared on the screen when I had made the images too large for them to be printed clearly.
On reaching the final page, I realised that I'd not completed the book until I re-visited each page to select the background from a wealth of options.
When I started I had no idea just how long the whole process was going to take. However, the book was a gift and the recipient was thrilled with the result. I have to admit that I was pleased with the outcome of my efforts when I saw it in hardcopy.
I encountered the BIG problem right at the end of the process. The promised delivery time of 7 days was not met. I was informed of the delay, due to technical reasons, but the problem did cause a great deal of inconvenience, not only to me but also to those who arrange collection from my address to that of the recipient in time for the special occasion.
I would use Albelli again and have suggest the company to a friend, but would leave plenty of time to prepare and receive the photobook.
