I ordered prescription sunglasses on 7th May - frames showed as "in stock" on the website when I ordered. I received an email confirmation on 8th May confirming the frames were in stock and being moved from the warehouse to the laboratory - bit odd as the website had said they were in stock already.
Then had an email on 11th May to say they had received the frames from the supplier, so they weren't ever in stock in the first place!
I then had no further communication from them until I contacted them on 31st May to ask for progress as the website still showed my order as "Processing" .
I received the following reply on 1st June: "We are extremely sorry for the delay. There was a delay as the glasses as a 1st set of lenses had failed quality checks and we had to reorder another pair of the lenses. We can confirm that the order is being processed and your order will be dispatched ASAP."
No very ASAP as I heard nothing further until I contacted them yesterday when the website still showed "processing".
A webchat then revealed that they had dispatched the glasses (no notification to me) and they tried to say that it was my fault for not being in to receive a delivery - no card from the couriers, no delivery attempted!
Glasses finally arrived this morning and as I picked them up from the case, a lens fell out! Beyond belief!
So, truly abysmal service, order took far too long (the website says FIVE working days, but possibly up to 28 days), shoddy workmanship.
DON'T USE THIS WEBSITE!!
Needed to cancel a flexible booking but the website would not complete the cancellation. It provided a phone number which was unrecognised. Customer services was very hard to contact and eventually sent me an email telling me to ring another number, which I did and was then told to ring the first unrecognised number! I am assured by them that the booking has been cancelled and my money repaid but it still shows as live on the website. Will never book with them again.
