This is the second problem I've had with this service, therefore it goes without saying that I'm not very happy.
Last time I had a crazy incident where my driver got "delayed" - turns out by "delayed" they meant that my driver had gotten robbed and my parcel had bee stolen, not exactly the best first impression
As it turns out my second impression of DPD isn't so great either,
I ordered an expensive/important item from Curry's on Sunday night, and ordered next day delivery - £12 to have it delivered between 5pm and 8pm tonight
I'll take this all back if it comes in the next hour but it seems more and more unlikely
I checked my tracking details at 5 and it was at my local depot - fine, great, woohoo
I check an hour later and it's regressed to the "sortation facilitY" in Birmingham. So let me get this straight:
00:59: at Hub 3 (Brum)
3am: At Local depot (Oldbury)
17:21: At Hub 3 AGAIN (Brum)
Wow, that makes a lot of sense. So the driver decided to take my parcel back to Birmingham? How nice of them. It would've been quicker and closer for them to deliver it to my house.
I'm sorry but I am very dissapointed, you know when I pay £12 to have something delivered quickly, I do it for a reason, I don't do it for the fun of it.
I needed this item by today but I guess, how does that old saying go?
The courier service is always right,
There's something about that that doesn't sound quite right I can't put my finger on it
Hope your driver enjoys his round trip around the Midlands, I look forward to receiving my parcel on the 32nd of October, in the year 20never
Whenever he feels like it, don't mind me, I love waiting, just keep taking my money I love throwing it away!
Your drivers must have quite the journeys, you ought to put cameras in the vans and see where they end up.
